The policy that is disturbing in theorganization is the freedom that is given to employees and they are not monitored for their actsand are not accountable for any act too. Relevance of Legislation: The relevance of legislation for any organization andspecifically for organizations like JKL which do not follow any kind of code of conduct andethical rules should have a legislative law implied.It is important for JKL because by this noemployee would be treated unequally and they would receive all their due rights. The law wouldalso protect employees from any discrimination regardless of their religion, caste andbackground.Human rights legislative laws are being followed and implemented in many organizationswhich ensure that their employees are not treated in unfair manner. The law is important also ofrelevance because it would ensure that employees are not treated on the basis of their personalcharacteristics and race, ethnicity etc. and that they are treated on the basis of their merit. It isrecommended for JKL to follow ant-discriminatory law and imply all the rules on each and everymember of organization at all levels. Policies to Promote Cultural Diversity, Ethical Values and Relationship Building:JKL is the type of organization which also has to deal with customers since it is part of servicesindustry hence the employees should be well trained and well mannered. Many organizationshave started trend of training programs which helps employees in several ways. However, to Workplace Communication Systems 8promote cultural diversity and ethical values among employees, it is necessary to follow a set offramework which would be implemented and levied on all employees of organizations:? Teams should be made consisting of individuals from every culture and ethnicity and theteam leader selected from them which would report directly to Brisbane brand manager.? The team leader would be communicated and briefed about the objectives of conductingactivities, the goals to achieve at the end of activity and to maintain equality at all levels.? The activities would be conducted every alternate week of month where employeeswould have to act a scenario of people living in a culture basically showcasing thelifestyle of every culture. This would be an effective way to create interest amongemployees and through this way; they would be able to communicate with each other. At the end of every week, the manager would analyze the happenings and the best teamwould be announced as winner of the week. Every week new teams would be made to make theactivity effective and enjoyable.Changes to Further Improve Cultural Diversity and Ethical Values: Apart from therecommendation made in communication strategy to implement one to one sessions andworkshops, some policies such as legislative laws should be strictly implemented; the HR shouldensure that all employees abide by the ethical rules and regulations. JKL has been following apolicy of giving too much freedom to their employees with no monitoring and accountability;hence should be changed and employees should inform the management or their team leaderbefore conducting any act. JKL should start a policy with the objective of removing communication barriers betweenthe employees and management. For this, every employee has to share his or her experienceabout how they feel about the organization and what is disturbing for them. The employees Workplace Communication Systems 9should be given the leverage to speak their out, in this way they would let their frustration outand management would know the issues faced by them. Suggestions to Resolve the Issue Fairly: I, as the manager, would take my team for adinner at a lavish restaurant and from there would book a cruise for my employees andattendance would be mandatory to attend. There I would start sharing my experience and journeyof how I became a manager and how many compromises are made in a workplace to get settledwith people of who belong to different caste and creed however in between my conversation Iwould mentioned that I have heard of such an issue happening in office.Q2: Addressing the Issue faced by JKL Industries identified in question 1In order to cater the issue personally so that all issues get resolved as soon as possible andthere should be decorum in the organization, I have decided to meet the team and discuss issuesand problems faced by the employees. The meeting would not be held in the office premisesbecause office meetings always sound very formal and structured and I would like to approachmy team in a friendly and casual manner so a dinner for the entire team is book at a restaurantwhere all employees and other members of management would gather and their presence wouldbe mandatory to attend.The problems which I believe would be discussed and shared by the team are about notbeing informed, lack of communication between fellow employees and no guidance.After thecomplaint of one employee about not being called to the Christmas party, this issue washighlighted or else no one would have discussed this before. The employees might startquarrelling with each other and oppose the opinions however; the problem exists and is commonwith all employees that there is lack of communication and code of ethics. "
