Methods of CommunicationThe means of communication which will be used by JKL Industries in order to make thecommunication system better in the organization are listed down below: Provisions to Facilitate Bottom-Up Consultation: Bottom up change management isthe process where the management tries to solve the problems and concerns of the employeeswhich are affected by the change within the organization. For JKL industries the employees willbe handled by the management in an efficient and considerable manner. In this approach theemployees are encouraged by the management to be the part of management process. The majoradvantage of this approach is that it allows the employees to think creatively and to be moreinvolved and engaged with the organization and operations.Consultation on Employee Health and Safety:Health and safety are one of the mostmajor things which should be taken care of by the organization for their employees. Asemployees serve most of their time for the betterment of JKL industries, it is the responsibility ofthe senior management to make arrangements for their safety and health. The employees candemand for a complete health insurance for themselves as well as their dependents in order to Workplace Communication Systems 5ensure job safety and security. Moreover the employees can also communicate to the seniormanagement regarding their sick leaves which can be reimbursed if they are not availed by anemployee. Consultation on Job Roles and Performance: The employees of JKL industries canhave meetings or one to one session with the upper management to discuss about their job rolesand job description in order to perform more efficiently and effectively. Moreover the employeescan give necessary suggestions and feedback to the organization regarding the ways which canbe used to increase the performance of the employees. Employees can suggest the managers andsenior management to introduce the incentive and rewards system in the organization to increasethe motivation among the employees. Moreover the employees can also demand the organizationto provide them with better working conditions for them to function and perform in an efficientmanner. Grievance ProcedureGrievance procedure is said to be a step by step procedure which is to be followed by theemployee in order to get any problem or grievance solved by the management in a satisfactorymanner. The employees at JKL Industries should follow the following procedure in order to gettheir problems solved by the organization and upper management. At first the employee mustwrite a formal letter to the employer stating the reason for the grievance or problem as faced. Inthe letter the employee can also write any procedure or act which can solve the problem of theemployee. Moreover the letter should be dated and a separate copy should be maintained by theemployee.Workplace Communication Systems 6After writing to the employer or the boss a meeting will be arranged by the employer todiscuss the problem which is faced by the employee. The employee should gather all thenecessary point which he needs to present in front of the employer to support his stance. If themeeting is paused for necessary investigation of the matter another meeting will be held in futureto take the matter further.Further the employee should try to appeal the decision of the employer/boss if theemployee is not satisfied with the decision of the organization. Appeal should be written withoutany delay by the employee. The employee should clearly write the reason of appeal. After thisthe employer will arrange another meeting to discuss the appeal. A formal structured organization clearlydefines its ethical codes once an employee is hired and appointed; the ethical codes are to befollowed under all conditions and if an employee fails to abide by the rules so he would have toface some penalty or consequences."
