Thereare various principles and quantitative methodologies that help in assisting decision making inthe organizations. The Proper decision is taken in the organization for proper functioning and forreducing risk and uncertainty. Components of operation planning involve planning,organizing, coordinating and controlling the resources of the organization that is required toproduce the goods and services of the organization. Planning: Planning is the basic element in every organization as proper planning helps theorganization in efficient use of the resource as well as it helps in reducing the risk in theorganization. Planning in the organization helps in establishing the goals and help in achievingthem. Planning in the organization helps in managing the uncertainties as well as it helps inbuilding a proper team (Monczka, et. al., 2015). Competitive advantages can be created with thehelp of proper planning. In all types of organization, there is arequirement of planning whether itis small or big. Planning helps in providing information to the top management that helps inmaking adecision in the organization. Planning is done in the organization related to products orservices that are provided to the customers. Setting goals in the organization are arelativelychallenging task. Planning is required at every step in the organization for fruitful results. Thegoals setting procedures in the organization is completed by experts as they are managers(Christopher, 2016).Organizing: Proper organizing is required in every organization as it provides benefits of thespecialization. Organizing helps in diving all activities that are performed in the organization.Proper allocation of work is done with the help of organizing. Organizing helps in providingclarity in the working relationships (Monczka, et. al., 2015). It helps in accepting changes in theorganization as well as it provides proper administration. Organization growth and developmentisan important factor as it is achieved with the proper organizing (Monczka, et. al., 2015). Ifthere is proper organizing in the organizations desired goals will be achieved in an effectivemanner as well as it helps in reducing the cost of operations. Communication between employer and employees are maintained with organizing because there is frequent contact between themregarding discussion of work. Coordinating: There are lots of advantages of coordinating in the organization as it helps inimproving the goodwill of the company and leads to higher effectiveness. Coordination in theorganization helps in improving relations between employer and employees and betweenmanager and supervisors. Coordination helps in achieving desired targets on effective andquicker (Pearlson, et. al., 2016). As coordination helps in encouraging team spirit that will helpthe organization in various ways. Better coordination helps in motivating employees in theorganization. Coordination helps in providing proper direction to the employees as well as otherdepartments of the organization. Coordination helps in minimizing the wastage of resources inthe organization as well as it ensures smooth functioning of the organization. Operating cost isreduced with the help of coordination (Dobrzykowski, et. al., 2016).Controlling: Proper control is required in the organization for proper functioning. Controllinghelps in achieving goals of the organization as well it helps in implementing changes wheneverrequired. Controlling helps the organization in detecting deviations immediately and then thecorrective measure is taken for controlling those deviations (Pearlson, et. al., 2016). Controllingin the organization helps in judging accuracy as well as it helps in comparing actual performancewith the standard performance (Christopher, 2016). If proper control is there in the organizationwastage of resources is reduced because in controlling work performance of every employee ischecked and it is ensured that there is no delay in work. The main effort of organizations incontrolling is the motivation of employees. Proper control in the organization helps in ensuringorder and discipline.
