Such cultural factors are likely to have a significant impact on the development ofpositive HRM which is filled with higher levels of employee motivation, engagement andhuman resources management.All organizations have their underlying cultural factors whichis likely to impact the manner in which employees are motivated and engaged for fulfillingtheir work related responsibilities. This suggests that motivated employees arelikely to provide organizations impetus to improve the overall productivity of the businessoperations. In order to ensure that the company improves its overall efficiency the motivationlevel of the company needs to be improved upon. Organizational culture setsthe tone in which HRM policies would deal with the motivation level of the employees.Kevin Roebuck has stated that organizational culture is “a set of assumptions shared by theindividuals in an organization that directs interpretation and action by defining appropriatebehavior for various situations”. Such culture within organizations are likely to haveimportant impact upon various HRM standpoints like group behavior, team effectiveness,team composition, task design, use of organizational resources, team rewards and jobsatisfaction and motivation level. These HRM outcomes lead to higher level of satisfactionand increased motivational drive among the employees which ultimately raises the overallproductivity level.
