It is also important that the recruitment ads are properlyadvertised through various mediums like newspaper, magazines, television andinternet so that relevant information is being passed on to all.(Den Adel et al, 2004).As this job requires a personal with high skills and knowledge it is very important thatthis person has some previous experience, that too really good experience in theirrespective fields. It is very important that the recruits who would be responsible forthe work are aware of the national health and social care policy legislation as well asthe national targets. The recruit candidate or nurse should be familiar with 6C’sprinciple of nursing and be a person of discipline and ethics who would not allowanything bad to take place. This kind of job opportunities requires that there be properlegislative policies implemented. The Equal Opportunity Law is the one that needs tobe addressed at any cost. This legislation is very important to make sure that when3 the recruitment takes place there is no bias in the whole process with regards todifference in age, sex, race or culture. Every person who is eligible for the job andsatisfies every criterion then they need to be treated equally and given equal chancefor the same. There is also Maternity and Parental leave regulation and Families Actthat prohibits any kind of discrimination. Health and social care sector uses NationalHealth Service organizations basic services and rules in their functioning there isData protection act regarding the confidentiality of prospective candidates. Theinformation can only be used if there is some legal process regarding it. Whichevercountry the recruit takes place it is important that any law/policy regardingimmigrants should be given proper attention and importance. In case of Director of Nursing the following criteria is to be followed:? Bachelors is compulsory in nursing, Masters is common? The focus field would be Nursing and health care department.? There should be proper certification from registered authority.? Should have proper license to work.? Have years of experience as a registered nurse. ? Should work for at least 1000 hours as director of nursing and 75 hours oftraining or education. (Williams, 2017) In this scenario, a relevant job description would be the one with focus on thesecriteria. We can always choose from various methods of recruitment that would besuitable for every case and scenario.
