All the candidates are treated equally. Here theemployees are chosen with different personality and skills. Here the employees are hireddepending upon their skills and experience. It is the process of training the already existingemployees and to attract the new staff members to fill the vacant positions in the company.So if the Walmart adopts the training technique they can overcome the employee turnover andget talented and skilled employees. It helps in increasing the skills of the employees andperformance of the organization. Tesco does not focus on the criteria of the skilled employees. They hire people right from schoolwith good skills and behavior. They provide a healthy environment within the workplace andgive adequate training to the employees. It is created by the merge between theNTL, Telewest and Richard Branson’s Virgin mobile. It produces television, mobile phones andlandline phones.3.1 Assess the link between motivational theory and rewardMotivation is the phenomenon used to list the factors inside the individual which make, maintainand conduct the behavior in order to achieve the goal. At virgin mobiles motivation on the wholeis a very complicated process. Money and the salary hike are the most important motivationmotivational factors. Money provokes people to work hard and achieve their goal. Money have avery profound effect on the performance of the employees. Motivation is not about the money onthe whole. It involves many other factors. Financial and non-financial rewards are the mostimportant things that effect the performance of the employees. For the growth of any organization motivation of the employees is very important. Motivation isclosely linked with the rewards given to the employees. All the human beings likes to beappraised for the work in which they are good. It is the duty of the managers to create a healthyenvironment within the workplace so as to create the comfortable environment for theemployees. The managers must motivate the employees to work towards the cause of thecompany and reward them if they do good work. Hard work of the employees must be rewarded. The employee must have a sense of achievement within them so that they can work withenthusiasm. (Nagarjuna, 2016)3.2 Evaluate the process of job evaluation and other factors determining payJob evaluation is the process by which the worth and value of different job profile is estimated. Ithelps in the process of determining the relativity and the pay sale for the different profiles. Forthis task we have considered the Virgin mobiles. Virgin mobiles arranges for the differentworkshops that evaluate the customer satisfaction and various aspects of the job. It estimates thesuperiority of one job profile over the other. In helps in deciding the fair pay scale for differentjob profiles. Hay scheme is the most widely used scheme of job evaluation and factors determining the pay.The Hay scheme covers the three important factors such as knowing the problem, solving theproblem and accounting for the problem. Knowing the problem involves the application of theskill and the experience. Problem solving involves analyzing the problem, finding a solution andimplementing it. Accountability is being answerable for the problem and being answerable forthe problem. Job evaluation is basically concerned with the value of the company and the individual, the payof the employees is determined accordingly. Pay is linked with the evaluation of theperformance, skill and competency of the employees. Job evaluation is either skill based orperformance based. Virgin mobile rewards its employee with bonus and promotion to motivatethem. Rewards are givenon the weekly and the monthly basis. There is also an annual reward system of rewards. Thereare some job profiles which gives the hourly basis of pay. There are two factors which are involved in the reward system. Firstly, indirect pay involvesgiving various incentives such as health benefits, increased lifestyle, gym membership andvarious staff discounts. Secondly, the integral rewards related to the needs of the people and theirrequirements provided by the company. These requirements include the options of career growthand personnel development of the employees. These requirement give people their requiredcareer break. The basic rewards include the acknowledgement of achievement, recognition ofexcellent work and various responsibilities given to the employees.The basic objective of the reward system is to keep the employee loyal to the company andattract the new employees which are skilled and talented. They should have qualification anddegree according the post offered to them. The basic aim of the reward system is increasing thecommitment of the employee towards the company and improving their performance. Human resource management is the department which focusses on the rewards and the appraisalto increase the effectiveness of the employee and growth of the company. It also helps in settingthe parameter for the payment method and gives bonus to the deserving and the hard workingemployees. (Amy, 2016)3.4 Examine the methods organizational use to monitor employee performanceIn the large and efficient organization such as Virgin Mobile the performance of the employeesare continuously monitored. Their task and reports are continuously checked. After the propermonitoring of the work of the employees managers give the feedback to the employees for theirperformance. The members are divided into the teams by the managers and then the feedback ofthe team is given. It is the duty of the line manager to give the feedback to the employee in asimple and understandable mannerThere are the regulatory mechanism for monitoring the work of the employees and comparing it.The employees are required to perform in accordance with the standard set by the company. Thishelps in monitoring and reviewing the performance of the employees and comparing it with otherperformance of the other employees. It is also compared with the performance of the employeesin the previous tasks. This helps in providing better support to the staff and assisting themwhenever necessary. (Tulgan, 2012) "
