His teenage was normal like others and he did not had any interest at that agefor working for his nation. Though he spent his entire teenage with his brother and friends inDrinking , Gambling and love affairs. He also got involved in Lupercal cult and for remaining life he was known as Priest for that case.He had fled to Greece in 58 BC, where he got education in Philosophy and Rhetoric at Athens.Between 52 and 50 BC .He joint military as Chief Of cavalry. It was the initial stage of his careerand further he got various opportunities and was instrumental in helping bring the province underRome's control. Due to having pressure under Caesar , he joint Gaul and was got chance to defeatbattles between Caesar and Pompey. Antony formed Triumvirate with Lepidus and defeatedTraitors in battle of Philippi in 42 B.C. Entire life of Antony:Antony and Caesar : As Antony began its journey of war with Julius Caesar during 54 to 50BCE ;he was also a friend to him and a right hand as he supported her throughout her life. Whenhe did service under Caesar he made his achievements in various wars. His life ofaccomplishment began when he started working under Caesar and although he made his lifesuccessful during that period. Antonius became quaestor in Roman Government During 51 BCE ;he got chance to handle official affairs and got membership in Roman Senate. The career of Antony began with the support of Caesar and therefore he helped him during thetough times and acted as friend and moreover supported him for ruling the Rome after defeatingthe Wars. He proved himself to Caesar in many situations and battles where Antony not onlyacted as decision maker but moreover followed the path of success. Caesar trusted him well inevery situation of his life and gave immense powers to Antony to prove himself. It was GallicWars when he showed his great leadership power to her made his great influence over was by making positive relationship with Publius Clodius Pulcher. During Caesar’s First dictatorship,Antony supported Caesar in Pharsaulus and during that battle Antony proved himself by acting assupport system to him. Antony was elected as co-consul to guide Caesar in 44B.C for decisionmaking during fifth and final Consulship. During 49 BC he got various Political Powers that weregiven by Senate. At that times Civil wars occurred between Caesar and Pompey ; where Antonycaused a serious threat against Rome and its political conditions. Than 49- 47 BCE Antony waselected as Master of Horse, Military commander of Roman Military in Italy.46BCE made a change in Antony’s career life as it was the time when Caesar took away Antony’srule from Italy as he was not happy with his actions of control. Then he got chance to provehimself when during 44BCE and was elected as consul of Rome but the actual power of thenation was still in the hands of Julius Caesar. During a time Antony who got the informationabout a plan against Caesar’s death by the opposition Party and it was Publius who stabbedCaesar from his back and though he looked around for help but the soldiers of Publius wereth around. It was 15 March when he was assassinated by Cabal of Senators and after his Death hiswife gave all charge of Caesar’s will and gave paen for fallen leader to Antony.Caesar’s will brought huge changes in life of Antony due to the statements mentioned over it ;Will included : 1.) Adoption of his Sister’s Grandson Octavian 2.) Stipend to each Citizen ofRome 3.) Games for fun and entertainment to public of Rome. Thus all the statement which werementioned on the will made by Caesar required huge amount for investment and funding but itwas Octavian who took all the funds and made his control for the purpose of Supporting andhelping the general public of Octavian. Mark Antony and Octavia:Than Antony’s life took a change as he gave the legacy of Rome in hands of a 17 years old boy.Moreover at those times, the threats from other parties began as Roman Senator, Cicero denounces Antony in various public speeches. During 43BCE Octavian troops created a situationwhere Antony drove out of Italy into Gaul. At times Octavian was official recognized as Son ofJulius Cesar and got a new name Octavianus.Then Antony made a new relation with Octavian where both agreed for sharing the Power,moreover along with Lepidus . Lepidus was Pontifex Maximus which were designated by Senateas Triumvirate with dictatorial powers for five years. Then further three of them made a planagainst the elimination of all Senators and the group members of Rome Aristocracy. However itwas Cicero who acted and gave great support to Octavian for making proper plan and itsimplementation.The formation which was being constituted by the three of them had to be successful as theirbelief was there because Senate respected Caesar to another level. Moving to career withOctavian Antony made a great influence over other parties and showed himself as a great leader.Triumvirate divided up the empire after Brutus and Cassius got defeated and killed themselves.After the death of Brutus and Cassius , Antony got a reputation in his empire and got a change inan power occur when Antony got east and Gual in Italy. Whereas Lepidus got Africa andOctavain Got West other than Italy as it was to be under control of all three of them.It was 40 BCE when Fulvia the wife of Antony and his brother got against to Octavian in Italyand were killed. There after Antony moved to Italy to bring a new and positive change inrelationship with Octavian. For resolving the relationship with Octavian ; Antony made him clearthat he would get married to his sister Octavia. It was merely a contractual marriage as Octavianoffered him a proposal of getting married to his sister for resolving all disputes.After the Parhians attack in Syria Antony and Octavian met Herod when had won various battlesand defeated Partians and their allies. That was a time when relationship and a strong bond of Antony and Herod took place. At 32 BCE Antony divorced Octavia sister of Octavian’s andthereafter an ending of relationship of Octavian and Antony took place.Octavian revealed some of the facts which created a negative impact on him and moreover romanpublic was with him after listening the facts and statements of Octavian. Octavian revealed that :Antony had plans of transferring the capital of Rome to Alexendra.Mark Antony and Cleopatra During 41 B.C. Antony went to Greece and had an affair with Egyptian Queen Cleopatra whowas lover of Caesar in early years. He wanted to live and rule Greece with the queen as they hadstrong love story but there was a time when Antony was being compelled to go back to Rome.But during 37 BC Triumvirate was renewed and Antony returned to Cleopatra and a fathered ason. There love life started growing in well manner and if talking about the rule over the Egypt ,he got great opportunity to grow in better manner.After returning back to Cleopatra they created alliance with Herod the great for which he tookmoney and all funds from Cleopatra. In 37 BC Antony got strong position to invade the Parthia.On the same part Octavian was planning to destroy Triumvirate by forming new alliance and theydeclared a war against Cleopatra . Whereas some of the Roman Legions shave support to MarkAntony and he thus had a big responsibility on his shoulders of not proving himself to Cleopatrabut also to his supporters.In 31 BC war occurred where Antony had more power but he fell many times in front ofOctavian.He got defeated at the Battle Of Actium on West coast of Greece. After the death ofMark Antony, Octavian planned to took Cleopatra with them to Rome as Prisoner. She was stronglady who handled whole empire under him but when she got information of her prisonment shetook a step and for which she arranged some poisonous snake in a large box and placed that box in her room. After which the bite of that poisonous snake became reason of death of QueenCleopatra. CONCLUSIONFrom the personal and career life of Mark Antony it is being concluded that he was second mostpowerful figure in Roman Empire. As his parental guidance helped him a lot to act in greatmanner in politics or in other words he was having the knowledge of managing the empire. Hispersonal life was normal enough and but when he began his career he faced various challengesand proved himself in many wars and battles.As his path of Career began with Caesar it made him really strong and gave well recognitionduring the path of his life. He was not only a friend to him but a right hand support system towhom Caesar trusted him blindly and he moreover gave him various political powers for whichMark was Solely responsible. After the death of Caesar he gave all the legacy to his sister’sgrandson who was young and not capable enough to make the decisions of whole empire but as itwas mentioned under the will of Caesar so he had to do that. After which various wars and battlesoccurred where Antony gave support to Octavian and he made an agreement to him for gettingmarried to his sister. Afterwards, when that marriage came to an end Antony took divorce fromOctavia and in revenge of which Octavian got against to Antony.Antony and Cleopatra (Queen of Egypt ) had an great love story which was very famous inGreece, Antony moved to Cleopatra, they got married and she gave birth to twins. As in revengeOctavian and Antony had a war in which he got defeated and both Antony and Cleopatra gotdeseparated in effect of which Antony killed himself as he thought that Cleopatra is being killedby Octavian’s. But After knowing the death of Antony she also killed himself with a poisonoussnake bite.All of the above incidents and life changing experiences created an positive image of Antony. Itshowed that he was practical and powerful person with having strong support of public and wonmany wars and proved himself in different basis. Being a friend, being an emperor, being an lover, he was real and strong personality who accomplished and achieved huge success in his life.Antony played a great influence over the history as in different situations he formed a strongempire and moreover the Control over the Rome and Greece and the way he managed the politicalpowers showed him as an great leader and emperor.
