In conclusion, the elderly can experience the effects of the glass ceiling just like womenand other minorities can do. The glass ceiling leads to low pay and low self-esteem among theelderly (David and Woodward 115). Entrepreneurship will show people that the elderly canmanage businesses successfully thereby reducing the wrong perceptions. The elderly may havemore job experience than the young people do.
