  • "LESSONS FOR FUTURE PROJECTSThe study has led to a discovery of a few setbacks that limited the scope ofidentification of various problems. The setbacks can be utilized as strengths forfutures projects. Firstly, I have felt that the tutor assistance program was limited to ashort span. There were a lot of difficulties during the project and I could not find abetter solution. I took feedback from my colleagues but I believe that it was not veryhonest as most of them were involved in seeking answers to their own problems. The reflection should have been more of a group activity. This could have led to apositive contribution rather would have improved the consistency of groupattendance. The reflection could have further been divided in two parts; individualand group. Although it would have been more complicated but could have beenmore fruitful For instance, the group activity would have led members to takeinitiative which could have further improved the success rate of group meetings.Thirdly, the behaviour needs to be more positive; individual as well as the group. Thepersonal and professional problems should be kept aside of each other. I have facedthe personal issues reflecting in lack of coordination and combination amongst thegroup members. The heart over mind in the professional work may lead to negativeresults. (Andrea Saab) However, it may be accommodating to support the groupmembers. For example, the group members’ performance was improved by knowingtheir personal feelings. The affection helped to improve the overall group`sperformance by minimizing the conflict rate. This can be regarded as an innovativeway of coordinating activities. The provided articles helped as a guide but at the same time increased the level ofambiguity. The desired objectives were not found to be fulfilled within the relatedarticles. This further led a chaotic situation about identification of the problem set. Thus, the complimentary copies should aim at clarification instead of confusions.61 CONCLUSIONErstwhile reflective system has highlighted on remembering facts and completingtasks. The modern environment demands an individual to be more realistic andshould possess problem solving abilities in different spheres of life. Scholarsacknowledge this fact by teacher learner relationship. The overall research periodhas led me to review my capabilities required to perform tasks. The group work aswell as the individual part led me to assess and think beyond my boundaries.Thinking of various innovative ideas developed during the process. For instance, Iwondered how I can contribute as a consumer to innovate a new product for acompany. Besides, I thought of opening a firm and tried to apply the basicknowledge of the NPD process. The supervisory action has boosted my confidenceand motivation level. The errors discovered would help in repeating them in futureprojects. The project has led me to think beyond my imagination and I believe thatanalyzing and using my knowledge would help me achieve success.62 REFERENCESBelbin, M., (Belbin Team Role Theory), www.belbin.com, n.dBerthoud, P., (A Professional Life Narrative), Creative Commons Attribution, 1-21,n.dCano, J.L., and Lidon, I., (Guided Reflection on Project Definition), InternationalJournal of Project Management, 2010, April, Zaragoza, SpainHargreaves, J., (So how do you feel about that?
