The county seat is inFort Lauderdale. The county is home to multiple universities and various businesses as well as ahome to 1, 896, 425 people according to the 2015 census. The data mainly gathered for thisanalysis is from the year 2012.The economic base analysis is this moment divided into threesections. The first section shows and compares the percentage share of the employment byvarious industries in Florida state and Broward County. In this segment, the number of employees from a single industry is indicated as apercentage of the total number of personnel employed by all the manufacturers available in theregion studied of the county and state. The data gotten from all this is them compared anddiscussed. The second section analyzes the percentage of the total annual payroll from all theindustries within the county and the state, from which comparison is made based on the findingsand the results are then discussed from the results in the first section. In section two again, thenumber of the annual income from all the particular industries is divided the total number of thepaid employees in all the industries so as to get a clear picture of the annual payroll by industryper the employees in both the county and state. As a preamble, the data in section one and two isorganized into charts (put figure numbers) and then the third section calculates the basemultiplier of the Broward County based on the simple combination approach, the LocationQuotient approach, and the assumption report. The results of all these are presented in the chartsand tables (figures and tables). The simple combination approach determines the employmentbase multiplier for the Broward County. A perfect example is the applicationof the assumption that the mere suggestion gets the annual payroll by industry per employeemodel that all jobs and levels within the industry get the same annual salary, which is notapplicable at any cost. Hence it is good to diagnose the data as median standards in such cases.IntroductionThe county was created in the year 1915. The county derived its name the governor of FloridaNapoleon Bonaparte Broward who was at the helm in the period 1903-1909. 50 years have elapsed as from the date of inception of the railroad in the year 1896, and aconsiderable amount of land was drained to give allowance for the development and support ofagriculture ("Journal Of Histotechnology", 2005). However, in the current day and age, farminghas since shrunk, and a majority of the land is currently being sat on by roads developed for thelocal places and many-storied buildings.1.8 million People are living in the country and aredistributed across the 31 municipalities in the county, the Seminole Tribe Area of Florida.Of theestimated 1.8 million residents in the county, a total of 48 percent are white adults, 23 percent areadults Hispanic, 24 Percent are adult Blacks while the 5 percent belong to other races.Environmentally, 810 square miles which account for 66 percent of the county is protectedEverglades. Some of the features of this climate are that they experience a subtropicaltemperature of 75.4F as the average temperature annually. The county also experiences seasonsof falls and wet summers, and a period of dry spring and later winters.The county is cosmopolitan with different races. It also has a total 56 golf courses as some of thesocial amenities provided in the county. Because of the ruggedness and diversity of thetopography of the county, it has a total of 123 bridges installed, 14 museums for cultureencouragement, and 4,097 restaurants. "
