Introduction:
It is very important to make the children learn different things at the early childhood because once they have learned different things at a very small age, they will always remember them throughout their life and if they learn something wrong from anywhere outside their homes, they will never forget it. There are different theories of learning that discuss the process of learning in detail and that focuses on the motivational part of the individual.(Jordon, 1996) There are different games that can be played in order to make the individual learn different things and to make the strong his or her cognitions and then the child may start thinking deeply. In the very shortage, people try to make them learn through the symbols or the different words as per their ease and they also learn easily through the numbers. They play different games like the scrabble or some other game in order to recognize the numbers. (Julia, 1999)
Components of the Childhood Development:
First of all, you must learn about the emotions of your child and try to make him or her social in the society by taking his or her to the social gatherings of the same age group then you have to make sure that what are his emotions and how he used to think about the different views of the society. Then you have to know that what are the difficulties that he or she is facing in the mental fitness or the views of the others. You have to make sure that your child is thinking positively or negatively about the society.
Mathematics is the game of numbers in which the things are being counted and people play with different numbers. These numbers are very useful in developing the different number skills and thinking skills. They sharpen our memory and make use to think widely in a better way. Math is so much important because it takes the measures of the lines and hence develops different skills to improve the skills of being a thinker or the philosopher. Children play different games of the numbers in which there is a great importance of the numbers and in which they assign numbers and points to different things and hence they play this game through the grades that they have assigned to them. Humans apart insect also build their homes like the honey bees, their home is of the attractive structure. They need a proper measurement for building it but they can't use the math properly. They use it in the form of their memory.
Learning in the Childhood:
In childhood learning, we will discuss all the aspects of the learning in the childhood of a human being. There is two type of learning. One learning is the formal learning and the other is informal learning. In the formal learning, you learn from some formal sources like one individual that learns different things and different rules from the schools or the institutions. Informal learning is the process from which the children teach from the informal resources like from the peers, friends, parents, family or the siblings. Children learn from many resources and all the people in the social circle of that individual play an important role in the development and in the learning process of that individual. When a child is born, he does not anything and he starts learning different things from different people around him and then starts giving symbols to different words and make meanings of that things. The people play a very important role in learning the process and there are many different theories related to the learning process. All these theories include different steps and different stages of the learning process. When the individual is born, people try to talk to him or her in a very different manner so that he may start to give the symbols and the signs to the different things. The both types of the learning process that are, the one is the formal learning while the other one is the informal learning play a very important role in the individual's process of the learning and then gradually he realizes the different meanings of the world. There are five aspects in which the childhood is developed, these aspects are:
Language: language is the tools through which the individual talks and make the other people understand what the children are saying. Through this aspect, he is able to tell the different things like the pain, joy or the happiness.
Cognitive skills: cognitive skills are important to think about the things and what is happening around the globe, why it is happening and what is the purpose of this. When will this happen? Through the cognitive skills, the individual is able to recall the past incidents. It is clear from the research that the individuals recall the good events easily while they can't recall the bad events quickly. It takes the time to recall them. They can gradually try to forget about the something that was not pleasant.
Emotions: the way the children are attached to the other people and develop the emotional attachment with the other people. In the early stages of the children, they develop the emotions of the people around them like his or her parents.
Social activities: a human being is a social animal and he or she may have to live with the other human beings in the social circle. There are many social groups from which he tries to learn different things. He may learn both the things like the positive things and the negative things as well. The people try to form different groups in which they are comfortable and they enjoy the company of them and can share their problems or the issues in their lives.
Children can develop a different type of skills through their cognitive learning skills and in this they use their mind so sharply that they start thinking differently. There are many different exercises in developing the cognitive learning skills among the children. Different theories have been developed to support this idea of learning. Play learning is the key term that is being widely used in the psychology and the sociology.
The play is an act that is responsible for making the children learn about the experiences that may be good or harmful to them. When the child is of 2 or 3 years, he explores different things in the world and then tries to experience them in a different way. The play has following characteristics like:
Voluntary: the play must be voluntary and it must not be preplanned in order to make a learning disposition from it.
Enjoyable: the play must be enjoyable and the unit must not be so boring that the children will not play. It must be interesting so that the children must play it again and again. The play must quite interesting in which the decision-making process is needed to perform well.
Imaginations:
Different types of imagination play a very vital role in the play because it helps in sharing the memory and providing the children a new path to engage them in the new activities.
Creative:
The play must be creative because it uses the different types of innovative ideas to engage in the play.
Cognitive plays are needed in order to develop the habit of the learning. Cognition is basically known as the thinking and it is based upon the facts and the figures but sometimes it may not base upon some facts or the figures. There are two ways in which people try to think. They are rational thinking and the other one is the irrational thinking. Same is the case among children. They try to think of the two ways. The first way is the rational thinking which is based on their past experiences and they think purely from a mind that whether this activity will be better for them or not. The second is the irrational thinking in which they don't think of the facts. They want the different things by hook or by crook or get the task to be done at any cost.
Motivation is the key to success and for mathematical learning motivation is greatly used for the children to get the task to be done and to memorize different things at the time. Motivational theories are important to understanding this concept. The theories suggest that the people learn through the motivation or especially the motivation is useful for the children in order to make them learn. The mathematics is purely based on the numbers. If you will ask them word problems of the math then they will reply very quickly, this means that they think from their cognitive part of the brain and then they reply to the question.
Children construct different building blocks in their memory when they are set free to play with some block shape toy. They try to make the different shapes of it. They break it and then try the new shape. This is also the learning in which they think the different shapes from their minds and then try to make it in the form of a play. It is quite interesting for them to make the new shapes and to think about these new shapes. They then make the different symbols from them.
Scrabble is the game that is widely used to share the memory and then make the names and recall them differently. This game is usually used by the parents to share the memory of their children by playing this with them. Scrabble is provided with the different letters and they help in the cognitive learning of the children and then make them learn the different words. Cognitive learning is the very important for the kids and the young learners and they try to symbolize different things with the numbers. The children make the keys of the numbers with the different symbols and they use it in different manners in order to recall the past situation.
Conclusion:
Parents are the most important that play a very important role in making their children learn different things. They are the one who spend the most of the time with their children at its early stages in the home and then make them learn different things to them. It is very important for every child to learn the different things on the time and to use the symbols as the part of his learning process. Children use the different mathematical numbers for the particular situation. There some factors that make them learn different things like the internal and external factors. The internal factors may include the personal wishes of the individual or the motivation of the individual while the external factors may include the formal or the informal factors in the learning process. These factors are the friends, family, parents, siblings, teachers, social media and the many others that make the children learn in a good way. Children may learn the good or the bad habits from their friends and the family.
