The Selling Concept

Many organizations follow selling concept.  The selling concept is idea that consumers will not buy sufficient of the organization's products unless organization undertakes a large-scale selling and promotion effort.

  2. To be successful with this concept, the organization ought to be good at tracking down the interested buyer and selling them on the product benefits.
  3. Industries that utilize this concept typically have overcapacity.  Their aim is to sell what they make instead than make what will sell in the market.
