Scope of Job Design - Process Design

When designing any job, three requirements must be met simultaneously: technical feasibility, economic feasibility and behavioural feasibility, as represented in this figure (adapted from Dilworth, 1996).

Technical feasibility 

The process must be capable of transforming its inputs into the required outputs in a dependable manner, and the job must not exceed the limits of the person's skills, or mental and physical endurance.
